Rachel Legend, LICSW is a lifelong educator and consultant leading both hospitals and non profits as well as Fortune 500 companies through both transitional leadership needs as well as creating mentorship programs for executive leaders to experience success.

Rachel has devoted her professional life to training and education both through her advocacy, creation of progressive change initiatives and commitment to social justice. A transplant from California, she has long been a client activist lobbying for youth-initiated policy changes in schools, facilitating support groups for domestic violence and sexual assault survivors, leading a speaking bureau regarding discrimination and anti-bullying, and providing crisis response in a variety of settings including schools, community mental health agencies, high risk residential settings and with at risk populations.

Rachel received a national award, alongside KD Lang and Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, from the Human Rights Campaign for her work with youth in California, graduated from Leadership Rhode Island’s year long program for RI leaders and was recognized by Rhode Island College with their Annual Diversity Award. Most recently, Rachel was the recipient of the Chairman’s Council for Universal Health Services demonstrating successful hospital leadership including clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction in 2017, 2018 and culminating in an Eagle Award for 2019. Most recently, Rachel received Drexel University’s Outstanding Promise Award in 2021 for exhibiting great promise for regional and national societal impact now and in the future due to her work regarding creating clinical best practices for engaging transgender clients and employment candidates. Rachel serves on the Board of the Massachusetts Association of Behavioral Health Hospitals, Mayor’s Council on Substance Use Prevention as well as the Rhode Island Governors’ Opioid Overdose Prevention and Intervention Task Force.

Kimberly Rodrigues

CO-FOUNDER

Kimberly Rodrigues, LICSW is a highly passionate advocate and leader with years of experience in mentorship, systems development, education/training as well as executive leadership curation.

With an undergraduate degree from Providence College in Social Work and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Rhode Island College, Kimberly entered the field dedicated to change, advocacy, and leadership development. With continual experience in both direct care of patients as well as years of experience growing teams and leaders, Kimberly has successfully driven systemic change. Kimberly has overseen inpatient and outpatient programs and teams to success. As a C-suite executive in hospital and healthcare settings, Kimberly has not only created and grown inpatient and outpatient programming, but done so with extraordinary clinical and financial results.

In 2012, Kimberly was nominated to present her research study on domestic violence at the Annual Celebration of Student Scholarship and Creativity and received the Providence College Social Work Professional Promise Award. Kimberly has worked in executive positions within hospitals, has supervised clinicians and departments, and specializes in program development and leader mentorship through both macro analysis of problems as well as micro therapeutic interventions with clients.

Jill MacCormack

Jill MacCormack, LICSW has focused her personal and professional life on passionately challenging the status quo to promote impactful change.

Hailing from New York, Jill has spent time across the country working in diverse settings, gaining an understanding of how varying markets, systems, and businesses have their unique challenges, barriers, and needs. Starting her career in New York, Jill graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications and Criminal Justice, gaining experience in public relations in the NY Metro market. Jill later graduated from Rhode Island College with a Master’s in Social Work and furthered her healthcare career before relocating to Colorado.

While in Colorado, Jill worked in both the public and private sectors of behavioral health and corrections. Jill was a member of the Tri-county crisis response team and Speakers Bureau, created as a response to the Columbine massacre. This commitment to social justice and change instilled a deeper understanding of the impact crisis and trauma can have on communities, and the necessity of thoughtful, skilled and targeted responses.

Returning to Rhode Island, Jill began her leadership career with a strong focus on building cohesive teams, creating an effective workforce through professional development and training, and creating the infrastructure to support the needs of the businesses, teams and facilities. Gaining executive experience in Risk Management and Quality Improvement, Jill understands the severity of impact that adverse incidents, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction can have on a business. Additionally, Jill has maintained her therapy practice in order to continue to affect change on the individual level to assist other leaders in their personal and professional growth. The culmination of these macro and micro experiences has led Jill to finding her passion in training and helping leaders have a deeper understanding of their reaching impact on their business, employees, and communities at large.
